Home Inspection
Today we had our home inspection.
Cue Mom freaking out.
Okay - I didn't freak out. I promise.
I tried to reason with myself that we are good people.
Who live in a house.
With little people who are wonderful and wonderfully messy.
Who have wonderfully messy parents.
Who care more about making wonderful messy memories
than clean floors.
But... I might have freaked out a little on the inside.
Because I overheard this conversation in the bathroom earlier today:
Bethany: Our bathroom is so clean!
Eden: They are doing adoption home inspection today.
Bethany: Oh.
Eden: We just have to keep it clean till they say we can have a baby.

And they did.
There was nothing we should have worried about.
Our Social Worker is amazing.
And we have wonderful friends who came to do an in person interview
as part of our reference check, while we light saber battled in the backrooms.
Because someone thought that was an appropriate
to behave when guests where in the house.
And then while we were meeting, it was show off time.
Bethany broke every house rule we have.
(Which, by the way, are very few.)
Eden said tushy a million times and
then moved all of her drawing things to the walkway,
just so she didn't miss out on conversation.
And Kronk brought all of his tennis balls to show her
and then chewed them to bits in front of her,
on our vacuumed rug.
But we passed!!
Can you tell?
No issues or complaints!
Thank you for your prayers and support!
