Waiting...
At church, we are in the season of Advent,
the season of waiting.
Waiting for the gift of Jesus Christ.
Waiting for the wholeness that God brings through the Son.
Waiting on the Kingdom of God to be here and now.
A lot of waiting.
Waiting for forms to FINALLY get our social worker.
the season of waiting.
Waiting for the gift of Jesus Christ.
Waiting for the wholeness that God brings through the Son.
Waiting on the Kingdom of God to be here and now.
A lot of waiting.
Waiting for forms to FINALLY get our social worker.
Waiting for ther doctor to be available to meet with us.
Waiting for enough money to be raised.
Waiting for the right person to notarize a form.
Waiting for class reports to be approved.
Waiting.
I am not a naturally patient person. Chris and I are take charge- do it ourselves- get it done- kind of people.
All of this waiting is hard. Really hard.
In both a good and bad way.
Bad because we want our son. Here. With us. In our arms. At the table. Giggling with his sister. Hey, even fighting with his sisters.
But we are waiting.
Which is good. Because we are learning that not everything is up to us. Not everything is under our control. Good things- great things- precious things... Sometimes take time.
But are so worth the wait.
