Wandering and Waiting

Tonight, we got word from our adoption case worker that two families in the Haiti program are heading to Haiti to bring their children home next week. These people have been waiting years for their sons and daughters. Years.

Sometimes it is a wilderness. Sometimes it is a wandering. Sometimes I feel lost. And can't hardly see the pillar of fire leading us.

But I am praising God tonight for two... families that are being made whole. That children are forever finding their families. And praying for them as they grow and change and become one.

So we are waiting. And wandering. And a bit lost. Squinting to see that pillar of fire that leads us... but tonight, we praise God.

KNOWING that #GodisGood. KNOWING that #Godhasgotthis. KNOWING that the wilderness can be a Holy place.

So, if you could tonight, pray for our son. And for his sisters. And for his parents. Who wander. And who wait.

Because just because it is Holy...doesn't mean it isn't also hard.
