Feet in the sand
(Chris, with Bethany and our nephew Zavi)
We are at the beach this week. We go every year with my parents, my grandma, our cousins, and my siblings. It is such a gift for us all to be together and rest! We usually celebrate my dad's birthday during this time and he loves that we are all together.
The hard part about not being at home means we are not able to do any of the paperwork for our adoption. I couldn't want to travel with all of those documents. But I am thinking that might be good. It means I am fully present with my kiddos and Chris and I have gotten some precious alone time after weeks of ministry day and night.
(The girls enjoying a treat with our cousin Nicholas.)
We are constantly reminded of the child we wait for... And that is a gift. At Walmart yesterday, my dad was asked how many grandkids he has and he said- without missing a beat- 5. We are all so ready for him to come!!
By the way, if you haven't gotten your #bethegood shirts, let me know- I have a bunch! And if you want the link for our Pure Charity link, here it is:
