Twinning for a cause
No, we are not adopting twins- get that thought out of your mind! (Terry, it was never in mine!!)
But Chris and I are twinning today!
By the way, this is his least favorite thing EVER.
He wanted to change. He is not a matchy, matchy person.
But I love it- because it means we both woke up thinking of our son. And that fills my heart.
Actually, it is really hard NOT to think of him. Sunday, I had the blessing of going home to the church I worked in for six years through college and seminary to preach.
It was the first time I ever said- out loud when introducing myself- that I have three children, two here with me today and one we are working on bringing home from Haiti.
It was also the first time someone asked me if the girls are biologically our children.
It didn't offend me- but the man said, "I mean- they don't look like they are yours."
I know much more of that is to come... And we will cross that bridge as we come to it.
We also wanted to thank all of you for rocking your #bethegood #bishopfamilyadopts shirts. Every day we run into someone wearing them, or friends post wearing them and we are so blessed. Each one helps us get closer to our goal of bringing our son home!
Thank you!
